North Carolina Passes E-Cig Tax
Minnesota is no longer the only state with an electronic cigarette tax as North Carolina becomes the second state to pass an e-cig tax. This tax makes an attempt to draw a clear distinction between tobacco products and vapor products by targeting the e-liquid within vapor products. And this makes sense since traditional cigarettes do not contain any e-liquid and nor could they or else they would be an electronic cigarette. E-liquids are taxed five cents per milliliter which is a decent and reasonable tax compared to the tobacco tax.
