FDA Regulation on E-Cigs: Yea or Nay?

A woman displays a package of E-cigarette in BordeauxThe U.S. Food and Drug Administration is developing product standards for electronic cigarettes and other nicotine delivery systems so that they may gain regulatory authority over them. The FDA wish to place regulations for approving new products and monitor the products when they reach the market. The regulation and monitoring is to ensure that e-cig companies do not market to minors. We believe that FDA’s input on electronic cigarette will mean thorough research and evaluation of the potential benefits of this emerging technology.
