New York, NY – Since the dawn of humankind, people have divided themselves into groups. Though it may not be PC (politically correct) to admit, we are usually more comfortable around people who are most like us.

For instance, back in the Paleolithic Era (when the cave man lived) you had the hunters, the warriors, the teachers, the cooks and the hieroglyphs (those are the smart guys who made history by writing on cave walls – today they’d be called “graffiti artists”). While everyone coexisted happily in the same cave, I would bet you my “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth” Poster circa 1970 that every time the warriors gathered together to throw back a few shots of cactus juice, they were considered the “cool guys” and the hieroglyphs looked on wishing they could trade in their chisels for spears.

What’s hot and what’s not is cyclical. Way back in the 1980’s if someone called you a nerd or geek you would be highly offended. Today that term is worn as a badge of honor (likely because the nerds and geeks invented the iPhone, the Smartphone, the Internet and Social Media). Now-a-days smart guys are cooler than Fonzie (that’s a throwback reference to a show called Happy Days – I know – not cool at all.

The point I am trying to make is that things that were once cool aren’t anymore and vice versa. For instance, motorcycles have been traded for bicycles; sunglasses have been traded for horn rimmed, non-prescription glasses and cigarettes have been traded for electronic cigarettes or vapes.

The transition began once the “PC” movement gained a foothold in our society. It took aim at everything and anything it believed was unsavory – kind of like the 1993 Sandra Bullock – Sly Stallone move, “Demolition Man” but not that severe – yet! The “thought police” told us that it was NOT okay to be fat; we shouldn’t eat fast food; we shouldn’t use artificial sweeteners; we should always wear our seat belts and we should definitely ditch the tobacco!

That last message was heard loud and clear by young and old alike, which is why electronic cigarettes are becoming the hot new “thing.” They are so hot, in fact, that the Urban Dictionary has dedicated a whole section to electronic cigarettes and the people who use them. And, because these electronic cigarettes are so cool, there are new companies being launched every day.

One of my favorite purveyors of electronic cigarettes is Puf Cigs www.pufcigs.com. This impressive start-up company based in Staten Island, New York, offers both disposable and rechargeable electronic cigarettes in a wide variety of flavors including: Smooth Tobacco, Extremely Menthol, Menthol Ice, Vanilla Cream, Espresso Shot, Bull Energy, Watermelon Splash and Tobacco Red. Puf’s electronic cigarettes provide up to 900 puffs which is the equivalent of 2-3 packs of tobacco cigarettes. That is a savings of approximately 75%.

Puf Cigs electronic cigarettes have a “soft tip” design that simulates the filter of a real cigarette. The full delivery of vapor with every puff of these electronic cigarettes provides a pleasing sensation similar to smoking but without the ash, burn or displeasing odor. These are the reasons people have given when asked why they stopped smoking tobacco and began using Puf Cigs electronic cigarettes.

Puf’s zero nicotine electronic cigarettes will be available for purchase in the near future as will their couture line.

Smoking cigarettes may have been “in” once, but that is a thing of the past. If you want to hang with the “cool” crowd you need to stop smoking and start vaping. Electronic cigarettes are the future. Go to www.pufcigs.com and get 15% off your first order. They are the best electronic cigarettes you’ll ever Puf.
